Lammergeiers and Golden Eagle Tours 

PHOTOGRAPHING LAMMERGEIERS & GOLDEN EAGLE in the PYRENEES 

February 6th-9th 2026   "long weekend"

Our tour is a two day, four night tour, photographing Lammergeiers and Golden Eagles in the Spanish Pyrenees. The superb, private location has one of the largest concentration of Lammergeiers in Spain or even in Europe! Capture birds in flight and in their environment, eating bones and interacting with each other. Also photograph Black Vultures and Griffin Vultures at the same site.  All hides are strategically situated within the landscape to provide the best photographic opportunities of these fabulous selection of bird species. 

The tour consists of: 1 day on Lammergeiers and 1 day on Golden Eagles, Collection from El Prat, Barcelona airport and all transfers to and from hides, to hotel, Accommodation is a 3 star hotel Bed & Breakfast. All licenses and passes are arranged. Excellent guide to client ratio.

The hotel is a single room with en-suite and breakfast included. There is a restaurant on site, within the hotel, but there are also other bars and restaurants in the local vicinity offering some other choices.

The first day is for travelling (3 hours from airport), arriving at the hotel where you can freshen up and get something to eat.

Each day - Breakfast is from 7.30am before meeting at the foyer at 9.00am, then being driven to the meeting place, with guided escort to the hides.

Photographic Itinerary

Day 1 - Assemble at El Prat, Barcelona Airport, transfer to hotel.

Day 2 - All day photography - Lammergeiers.

Day 3 - All day photography - Golden Eagles.

Day 4 - Transfer back to El Prat, Barcelona airport, departure.
