Day 7 Return to Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport

This tour offers not only a chance to photograph the rarest cat in the world, which there is only 2000 in existence, you will share this experience with like-minded photographers and nature lovers. The Jaén province are a photographer's dream, with their diverse landscapes and rich biodiversity.

Just keep in mind when booking your flight, we need to leave Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport by 13:00 hours, as we have a 3 hour transfer to the reserve.

Day 1: Arrival and welcome at Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport  where you will be picked up and be taken to your onsite accommodation, about 3 hours away, so plenty of time to get to know one another. We will be heading to an Andalusian rural farmhouse in the heart of the Sierra Morena Natural Park. The farmhouse consists of 6 bedroom with 3 shared bathrooms and a shared Kitchen, which has all facilities where you can prepare something to eat, meals, sandwiches, drinks etc. 

Day 2, 3 & 4: Early morning start, up a 6am for a coffee etc then we must be at the hides for around 7am. After the first session we will then break for lunch, where you can prepare your dinner / lunch, have a rest before the next photographic session. After lunch we will resume photography up until nightfall. Make sure you have refreshments and a snack to take with you into the hide.

There are two types of hides, some are made of wood and others are made of stone. The stone hides have air conditioning and underfloor heating, depending what time of year you plan your trip. Bathroom included.

Telephoto lens - We recommend a 200-600mm zoom or similar. 

Tripod, Batteries, memory cards

Weather -  Although some hides have climate control, they are outdoors, so it is advisable to check the weather forecast before your arrival. 

Clothes   - Always bring comfortable and camouflage clothing. Don’t use products with strong smells. 

Mobility - Access to the hide is very easy, no trekking is required. 

Please respect hide etiquette, keeping noise to a minimum, no smoking and mobile phones on silent as the hides have no glass.

Price includes accommodation all hide fees permits and all transportation to and from the hides and airport.
